This alto sax has had a full repad so there's many years of playing to be had. The Evette has fantastic intonation and excellent projection across all ranges. However, this doesn't affect the playability of the instrument, and it is playing very nicely for an instrument of its age (probably about 20 years old).
This saxophone in particular exhibits a high degree of lacquer wear, with much of the lacquer wearing off the key guards and keywork, as well as a number of scratches and nicks on the body-side of the instrument.
It doesn't have a high F# key, but it does have nice ergonomic keywork, an adjustable plastic thumb rest, and pretty floral engraving. The Buffet Evette is a Taiwanese-made entry level saxophone that offers good build quality and reliability for a low-cost horn.
